Quick Start

Get started with Cave Wallet in under 5 minutes.

Create Your First Wallet

After installing Cave, click the extension icon to open it.

1. Choose Setup Method

You'll see two options:

Create New Wallet - Start fresh
Import Existing Wallet - Restore from recovery phrase

2. Set a Strong Password

Create a password that:

Is at least 8 characters long
Contains uppercase and lowercase letters
Includes numbers and special characters

TIP

This password encrypts your wallet locally. Choose something memorable but secure.

3. Backup Your Recovery Phrase

You'll receive a 12 or 24 word recovery phrase. This is critical!

IMPORTANT

Write it down on paper
Store in a safe place
Never share with anyone
Never store digitally

4. Verify Recovery Phrase

Confirm your backup by selecting the words in the correct order.

5. You're Ready!

Your wallet is now set up. You can:

View your wallet address
Receive tokens
Connect to dApps

Receive Your First Tokens

Click on your wallet address to copy it
Share this address with the sender
Wait for the transaction to confirm

Connect to a dApp

Visit a Gno.land dApp
Click "Connect Wallet"
Select Cave Wallet
Approve the connection
